Lucas Maiorani / Guitar

He started to study the guitar at eleven years old. He joined the Music Academy of Besançon where he did his first concerts. He graduated in High Music School of Lausanne were he studied with Dagoberto Linhares and obtains two Master degrees in interpretation and pedagogy at the Royal Music Academy of Liège .He was congratulated by his professors for his teaching qualities. He taught in the Music Academy of Saint-Claude and Yverdon.

The many opportunities of concerts in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russia, confer him a good knowledge of live performance.
Following the excellent advices of Masters like Roland Dyens, Rolf Lislevand or Scott Tennant, Lucas Maiorani developed a very musical style, contrasted; seeking varied and coloured stamps. In solo or with groups, his public describes him like an impassioned and touching musician.

He performs in Liège with Simon Charlier in guitar duet. Together, they adapt many parts for their formation, from the baroque repertoire to the Spanish traditional folklore.

He has created in 2012 the duet PasSiClassique with the flutist Karime Hendor..They regularly record their varied repertoire: arrangements of arabo-Andalusian musics, Rumanian melodies, latino/Bossa nova songs, folk parts or Gypsy jazz standards. They like to mix times and styles in their sets for a tasty cocktail.
